Searching for consistency

Where's the balance?

My weekly email habits have fallen off the deep end and are no where to be found. In this season of managing a full time job and having time for anything else, I've sacrificed a lot.

The other day, I had the realization that I can't expect myself to do all the things I was doing before I had a full time job. I simply don't have the same amount of time.

And that's okay!

The morning go by quickly as we rush to get out the door. The evenings are filled with social gatherings, caring for the animals to get outside for an hour before darkness falls, and preparing for the next work day ahead.

It's a mystery to me how most of the country functions this way!

I'm hoping for a few slower weeks in the future and continuing to say no and yes with intention.

Choosing sustainable habits is still important to me and often it's happening in my subconscious. We ordered a terracycle box and I can't wait to fill it with all my plastic waste I've saved from the trash.

One thing at a time and we'll make it through today. 😊

Are you ready? Clearly, they are not. My sweet mother recommended more discussions about in my email newsletters so let's do it! I love talking about composting. Using something that would otherwise go to the landfill to turn back into soil, amazing. What you need to remember about the process is to have more browns (carbon) than greens (nitrogen). Every day I'm puzzlin' This is my favorite time of year to do puzzles because the days of sunlight are shorter and the cold weather keeps me inside where it's cozy.
